Here resistance to airflow comes from knit density: the face is a dense knit whose pores are measured in fractions of a millimetre, so air passes slowly while moisture still migrates through. For a car curtain that means less draught at the glass without the stuffiness a sealed panel produces; in footwear, air and vapour move but weather does not.

A curtain is a panel of fixed length: if the fabric relaxes after a cleaning cycle it no longer fits the window it was cut for, and nothing done on site adds back the missing centimetres. Can you supply it at a width other than 220 cm?

Yes. Narrower widths can be cut or knitted to your panel size, or set to your panel dimension if the fabric feeds straight into a cutting line.
